Firefighters help rescue three women stuck in lift at Warrington Bus Station

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help rescue three women stuck in a lift at Warrington Bus Station earlier today, Friday.

The incident took place at 1.45pm when firefighters were informed of people being trapped in a lift at Warrington Interchange bus station in the town centre.
On arrival the crew from Warrington discovered that three females were stuck in the lift.
They worked with a security guard to get the lift back to the ground floor.
The females were then released from the lift.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 15 minutes.
