THE team at Orford Pharmacy is today (Thursday) opening a COVID-19 vaccination centre at the Warrington Islamic Association premises on Lockton Lane, Bewsey, Warrington.
Sitting at the heart of the local community Orford Pharmacy vaccinations must be booked in advance.
A spokesperson for Orford Pharmacy said: “We couldn’t be prouder to announce we’re opening our very own COVID-19 Vaccination Centre based at Warrington Islamic Association.
“We’re doing this to help save lives and provide our community with a local and convenient place to receive their jab.
“Every year, our pharmacist vaccinates 100s of patients during the winter period for their flu vaccination. This proves that we’re not only able but well equipped to provide a vaccination service smoothly and efficiently.
“On average, our Pharmacy administers the flu vaccination 20 times a day, on top of their regular, day-to-day tasks. When the Covid Vaccine rollout begins at our Pharmacy, we plan to triple this number!”
