A £1,500 donation has been made to St Rocco’s Hospice by Healthwatch Warrington.

The donation, made as part of Engaging Community Solutions charity donations to regional hospices, is a thank you for their much appreciated work and to help St Rocco’s continue activities to benefit residents of Warrington.
Director of income generation and marketing at St Rocco’s Lara Patridge said: “On behalf of the team at St. Rocco’s Hospice I would like to thank Healthwatch Warrington for nominating St. Rocco’s Hospice to receive charitable funding of £1,500 and the ECS Board for your very kind donation. The money donated will make a big difference and will help us to fund all areas of St. Rocco’s activities
“Hospice services include the in-patient unit, the Vitality Centre, where we offer outpatient services and Hospice at Home. We also have an Emotional Care team who are dedicated to supporting patients and their loved ones as they face life-limiting illness. All of these services focus on enabling people to live life to the full and are provided free of charge to patients and their families, but we can only do this because of the generosity of organisations like you.’
Lydia Thompson, of Healthwatch Warrington, said: “We are delighted to be able to contribute to St Rocco’s fundraising, especially at this crucial time where charities are struggling to continue their fundraising activities. On behalf of Healthwatch Warrington and the ECS Board, we wish St Rocco’s continued success.”
