Firefighters investigating cause of house fire on Lovely Lane

FIREFIGHTERS are investigating the cause of a fire at a property on Lovely Lane, Warrington, earlier today, Tuesday.

Two fire crews attended from Warrington and Penketh shortly after 12.30 following reports of a fire at a terraced house in Lovely Lane, Warrington on the ground floor. The occupants were accounted for.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire and had a safety jet in place. They then used a large fan to disperse the smoke.
They checked upstairs and the loft for any fire spread and removed affected furniture from the living room.
The kitchen and living room were affected by the fire and upstairs was affected by smoke.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
