Two more deaths and 231 new COVID-19 cases as seven day rate exceeds 1,100

A total of 231 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington taking the seven-day rate to over 1,100, while two more deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital.

The 231 (272) new cases in Warrington in the latest figures from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 11,445 (11,214).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 1,101 (991) – 524.3 (471.9) per 100,000 population – continuing an upward trend in infection rates over a seven day period.
