Firefighters stop wheelie bin fire spreading to house

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning following a suspected arson attack involving a wheelie bin near a house on Lovely Lane, Warrington.

Shortly after 3.30am firefighters were called to reports of a bin being on fire near to a property on Lovely Lane. On arrival, the crew found the wheelie bin well alight.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the fire, which did not spread to the house, and were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
