Two more COVID-19 deaths and 104 new cases confirmed in Warrington

ANOTHER two COVID-19 patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital while 104 new cases have been confirmed in the town, with infection rates continuing an upward trend for a 16th consecutive day.

The 104 (52) new cases in Warrington in the latest figures from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 9,783 (9,679).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 592 (573) – 281.9 (272.8) per 100,000 population – showing an upward trend in infection rates over a seven day period for a 16th consecutive days.
*According to figures published to NHS England today (Dec 27) at least two more patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital taking the death toll to 306, following on from the two deaths reported yesterday.
