Warrington Town to return to action on Boxing Day

WARRINGTON Town will resume their Northern Premier League campaign with a trip to Witton Albion on Boxing Day.

The league confirmed in a statement that it will look to resume the published fixture schedule from December 26, while also giving clubs the opportunity to play this Saturday, if both clubs can agree.

The Yellows were due to face Ashton United at Cantilever Park on December 19, but that game has been postponed.

It means the next home game will now be in 2021 – the New Year’s Day visit of Bamber Bridge.
