Police launch appeal after teenage girl invited into car by stranger at Culcheth

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was approached by a stranger who invited her to get into his car at Culcheth on Saturday night at around 22:15.

The incident took place on Church Lane in the village when a teenage girl finishing work nearby was approached by a man in a car near to the shops.
The man asked her to get into his vehicle. The girl was unharmed and ran home to safety but police know very little regarding the man or his vehicle.
If you where in the area at this time or slightly before and saw a White male with a tanned complexion aged in his 50’s police would like to hear from you.
