A MOTORIST was trapped after a car overturned following a collision near Warrington last night.
The incident was in Kenyon Lane, Kenyon, near Culcheth around 5pm.
Two fire engines from Birchwood and Leigh were sent to the scene and found one vehicle on its side with one person trapped inside.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty, who was then passed to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters were detained at the scene for around half-an-hour.
