Police kept busy with anti-social behaviour, drug offences and arson

WARRINGTON Police were kept busy last night dispersing groups of youths involved in anti-social behaviour including drug offences and arson.

During another night of hi-visibility patrol on Victoria Park, Black Bear and surrounding areas groups of youths were dispersed, Class A and B drugs were seized and one male was arrested for public order.
Officers were supported by eleven members of Cheshire Police Special Constabulary team with a further five on duty today. The volunteers are committed to tackling crime and issues important to local communities, from seizing cannabis in Victoria Park and dealing with anti-social behaviour to calling Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service to extingush a fire.
Meanwhile, officers from Warrington Beat Management were also out last night with immigration enforcement working together and supporting communities.
