Drugs and weapons seized as tenants evicted

DRUGS and weapons were seized as tenants were evicted from a house in the Bewsey and Whitecross area of Warrington in a joint operation by Cheshire Police and Torus Housing.

It followed a Community Warning Notice being served at the premises in Leicester Street, where drugs and weapons were seized and a number of persons evicted from the premises.
Police attended at the premises along with Tours housing, in a joint Operation to tackle ongoing Antisocial Behaviour on Leicester Street.
It is part of an ongoing campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour in local communities across Warrington.
