ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital since yesterday while 37 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the town in the latest figures from Public Health England, which continues a downward trend.
The 37 (44) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 7,946 (7,909).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 470 (498) – 223.8 (237.1) per 100,000 population, which continues a downward trend.

Inpatient numbers at the hospital have increased slightly from 152 to 154, although nine patients were also discharged.
