SIX COVID-19 related hospital deaths and 44 new cases as downward trend continues in Warrington

SIX COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since Friday while 44 new cases have been confirmed in the latest figures from Public Health England, which continues a downward trend.

The 44 (41) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 7,909 (7,865).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 498 (520) – 237.1 (247.6) per 100,000 population, which continues a downward trend.
Along with the six deaths, inpatient numbers at the hospital have increased slightly over the weekend from 148 to 152, although 17 patients were also discharged.
