Two more COVID-19 related deaths and 41 new cases in Warrington as downward trend continues

TWO further COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday (Saturday) while 41 new cases have been confirmed in the latest figures from Public Health England, which continues a downward trend.

The 41 (44) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 7,865 (7,824).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 520 (521) – 247.6 (248.1) per 100,000 population, which continues a slight downward trend.

*According to NHS England 240 deaths have been reported at the hospital as of Sunday Nov 22.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is 249 (247) 118.6 per 100,000 population.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England is now 286 (286).

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths reported on Sunday, November 22 was 398 (341), taking the total number of deaths to 55,024 (54,626).
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 18,662 (19,875), taking the total number to 1,512,045 (1,493,383).
Across the country, there are 16,390 (16,390) patients currently in hospital and 1,421 (1,421) patients in ventilator beds.
*Due to a processing update, 141 previously published deaths within 28 days in England were excluded from the published data on 21 November.
This issue has now been corrected for data published on 22 November, which includes deaths omitted yesterday in today’s total and daily number of newly reported deaths.
