Man charged with burglary and possession of shotgun

A 55-year-old man has been charged with burglary and possession of a shotgun following an incident in Warrington.

Keith Stewart, of Arundel Avenue in Urmston, Trafford, was arrested shortly before 11am on Wednesday 11 November.
He was arrested in Salford in Greater Manchester and has subsequently been charged with burglary.
Stewart has also been charged with possession of a shotgun without a certificate and when prohibited for life.
The charges all relate to an incident that occurred in Shaw Street, Warrington, at around 8pm on Wednesday 14 October.
Stewart appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court, via a video link, on Thursday 12 November.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 10 December.
