Man arrested after dog attacked in park

A 27-year-old man from Warrington has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
The charge follows an incident in Orford Park yesterday (Wednesday) when a dog was allegedly attacked.
The dog was seized and the man arrested.
Floyd Lancaster, of Alder Lane, Orford, is due to appear at North Cheshire Magistrates Court on 26 November.
Police have confirmed the dog has been checked by a vet and appears to be okay.
