Police step up patrols following arson attacks on Padgate playground

POLICE are stepping up patrols in the Padgate area following anti-social behaviour including arson attacks on a playground.

Officers are aware of recent anti-social behaviour at a park near Lysander Drive, Warrington, which have involved the fire service being called out three times in a week.
Some of the incidents have included small fires being started deliberately, causing damage to equipment.
A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating the criminal damage and local patrols have been stepped up in the area to deter further issues.”
