111 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Warrington along with six new hospital inpatients

A total of 111 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest daily updates from Public Health England.

There have been six new patients admitted at Warrington & Halton Hospital, taking the total number of inpatients to 47, with seven in intensive care. Two patients have been discharged.
The total number of confirmed cases in Warrington since March is now 2,953 (2842). The seven day average as of September 29 was 62.7.
The latest available figures from Warrington Hospital released today, Tuesday, Oct 6. Previous day’s figures in brackets.
Covid-19 positive inpatients 47 (41) – of which 7(6) are in ICU
Total number of tests (inpatients/community) cumulative – 25,449 (25,229)
Total tests with a positive result (inpatients/community/died/discharged) cumulative 1,477 (1,456)
Discharges of positive patients (excluding deaths) cumulative 453(451)
Deaths of Covid-19 positive inpatients cumulative 146 (146)
There have been 161 (160) COVID-related deaths reported in Warrington 76.7 per 100,000 population.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 76 (19), taking the total number of deaths to 42,445 (42,369) –
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 14,542 (12,594), taking the total number to 530,113 (515,571).
Across the country, there are 2,833 (2,428) patients currently in hospital and 393 (368) patients in ventilator beds.
