ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 while 75 new cases have been confirmed in the daily updates from Public Health England.

This is down on the 157 new cases reported yesterday (Sunday) following the Public Health England technical problem which resulted in 16,000 missed cases which have since been added to the system, sparking concerns over how many people were missed on track and trace.
Prime minister Boris Johnson has been unable to say how many were missed on being quizzed about the computer glitch, with Labour accusing the government of overseeing a “shambolic system.”
The “IT failure” at Public Health England was caused by an Excel spreadsheet reaching its maximum size.
