Police thank member of public who helped detain shoplifting suspect

WARRINGTON Police have thanked a member of the public who helped detain a suspected shoplifter at the Boots store on Gemini earlier today.

The member of the public assisted in detaining a male who made off from Boots Gemini following an alleged Theft of a shaver.
The male was arrested for alleged theft. Police gave a “shout out” on social media thanking the member of the public who assisted.
Meanwhile in another incident, a male was arrested at a town centre hotel for alleged Disorderly Behaviour after causing a “Rumpus” by shouting and verbally abusing staff.
