FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today when controlled burning spread to trees at Cadishead, Warrington.
One fire crew from Warrington attended the incident at Moss Lane, Cadishead at around 9.30am after controlled burning had got out of control.
The deep-seated fire had spread to trees. Crews used a pump to get water from a lake and used a main jet to put out the fire.
