Air ambulance lands on town hall lawn after man falls from roof

The air ambulance landed on Warrington Town Hall lawn earlier today following reports of a man falling from the roof of a building in the town centre.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said:”At 11.10am on Wednesday 30 September police were called to reports of a man who had fallen from a roof on Cairo Street in Warrington.
“Officers and paramedics attended and he was taken to Salford Hospital by ambulance with injuries believed to be serious.”
A spokesperson for North West Air ambulance confirmed they attended at the scene and that a patient had been transported by road ambulance with head and hip injuries.
