A suspected shed burglar was arrested at Penketh on a stolen bicycle from his alleged crime.
Police were called following reports of a male trying to gain access to sheds in the Penketh area.
They located a male on a pedal cycle nearby and arrested him for alleged Burglary after it was discovered that the pedal cycle he was on had in fact been stolen from a nearby shed.
The male has since been charged with Burglary and has been Remanded to go before the court in the morning.
