Firefighters tackle suspected wheelie bin arson incident

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a suspected arson incident involving a wheelie bin at Bewsey, Warrington, yesterday evening.

The incident took place shortly before 9pmm off Troutbeck Avenue. On arrival, the crew found one wheelie bin well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that this fire had been started deliberately. Anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 812983.
Earlier at around 8pm one fire engine attended from Warrington following reports of a fire in the open off Osprey Close.
On arrival, the crew used a water backpack to extinguish the flames.
