FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today (Tuesday) to tackle a grass fire which is believed to have been started deliberately on Kingsway South, Warrington.
Shortly after 2pm one fire crew from Warrington attended a grass fire in Kingsway South, Warrington.
The crew used beaters to put out the fire. Firefighters were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Earlier in the day at around 12.20pm one fire engine from Warrington attended a report of a fire in the back garden on a domestic property on Padgate Lane.
On arrival the crew discovered that it was a case of intentional burning.
A decision was taken to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters did so with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around 20 minutes.
