Police make arrests after uncovering large scale cannabis farms

POLICE have made a number of arrests after uncovering large scale cannabis farms in the Westbrook and Poplars & Hulme areas of Warrington.

Officers from the neighbourhood team supported by BIT executed two warrants at addresses in Westbrook and Poplars & Hulme, uncovering large scale cannabis farms.
A number of people have been arrested as a result and enquiries are still ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the support and intelligence provided from the local community, we act on what you tell us.
“Our neighbourhood teams are committed to creating a safer Warrington.”
