Three men arrested and large quantity of fragrances seized

THREE men have been arrested and a large quantity of fragrances seized following a foot chase across Warrington town centre earlier today.

Town Centre Beat Management officers had made their way to Market Gate following reports of males trying to sell fragrances to members of the public.
This resulted in apparent panic and a foot chase, through Town Hill and onto Scotland Road.
Members of Response and Problem Solving Teams joined in and were directed by Warrington Borough Council’s CCTV operators until two males were tackled outside Central Station and arrested on suspicion of theft of a very large quantity of fragrance. A third male was arrested nearby.
A Large amount of fragrance was seized.
Two cars and further fragrances were seized nearby.
As a result, three males were arrested and taken into custody.
