Police descend on Sankey Valley Park following reports of drug dealing

POLICE descended on Sankey Valley Park, Warrington, on Tuesday afternoon following reports of drug dealing.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: “At around 1.30pm on Tuesday 8 September police received information of drug dealing believed to be occurring in Sankey Valley Park.
“Officers attended and conducted a search of the area.
“Two men were detained and searched but no drugs were found.
“They were then issued a dispersal notice to leave the park.”
