A WOMAN who made 18 false 999 calls in the space of two hours at Warrington has been arrested and charged with misuse of the emergency telephone system.
Police said a serious view was taken of false 999 calls being made when there was no emergency as it could result in delays in responding to a genuine call.
The public should only dial 999 in a genuine emergency.
