POLICE discovered a large knife hidden in bushes during a joint clean up operation with Warrington Borough Council in the Black Bear Park area of Latchford.

Due to recent issues in and around the Loushers Lane and Black Bear path area police are working with the council to tidy the area and make it a safer place to live.
As a result of the clean up the area is much brighter with less hiding places for knives and for drug dealing to take place.
They discovered a large knife tucked away in the bushes that has potential to cause serious injuries.

They are asking people who know anyone involved in Knife crime or drugs issues in the area to get in touch on 101 or via CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800555111 which is free to call and totally anonymous.
