WALTON Road , Stockton Heath, will remain closed today after a collapsed drain caused a sinkhole.
Work is ongoing and Warrington Borough Council aim have it re-opened tomorrow. Motorists are advised that this may cause delays locally so please allow extra time when travelling.
Walton Road is currently closed between the junctions with London Road and Dundonald Avenue due to the ongoing roadworks near the Aldi supermarket.
Local bus diversions have also been put in place.
