Police hunt for man wanted in connection with serious shooting incident

DETECTIVES are appealing to members of the public to help trace a man with links to Warrington who may be able to assist with their enquiries in relation to a serious shooting incident in Widnes.

James Price is 23-years-old and from the Merseyside area but he has links with a number of other places across the UK, including St Helens, Warrington, Leeds and South Yorkshire.
He is described as white, of medium build and around 5’ 9” tall. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair.
Detective Chief Inspector Clare Coleman said: “We are looking to speak to Price in connection with a serious incident in Widnes, in which a firearm was discharged, and it is essential that we speak to him as soon as possible.

“I would ask anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.
“I also appeal directly to Price to contact us so that we can progress our investigation.”
Anyone with any information in relation to Price’s whereabouts is urged to contact Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 999, quoting IML 770663.
Alternatively, if you do not want to speak to the police, information can be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
