A mixture of sunset and lightning created some impressive sky scenes over Warrington last night.

They show a sunset and lightning over Fiddlers ferry Power Station at Penketh and lightning over the Mersey Gateway Bridge.
More thunder is forecast next week as the humid weather continues.
