‘Stage’ set for Male Voice Choir’s virtual YouTube fundraising concert

THE ‘Stage’ is set for Warrignton Male Voice Choir’s virtual YouTube fundraising concert this Saturday (August 15).

It’s key performance venue – Parr Hall – may be closed at the moment due to COVID-19 and government restrictions, but that hasn’t stopped Warrington Male Voice Choir staging its first ever ‘virtual’ concert.
YouTube will be the ‘venue’ for Virtual Voices Together and the virtual curtain will be going up from 3pm on Saturday 15 August 2020.

As well as performances by the choir, the concert will also feature a strong message from Patron Terry Waite CBE, not to mention introductions from Musical Director Russell Paterson and presenter Bob Williams. All the concert content, now finalised, has been performed and filmed during lockdown, making it a truly virtual concert. The concert is also being used as a fundraiser for the choir, which hasn’t performed live in front of a paying audience since the lockdown started. The choir’s hope is that, as well as enjoying the concert, viewers will consider making a donation to choir funds, via the choir’s Just Giving page: CLICK HERE
So make a note: 15 August, 3pm onwards, YouTube. Warrington Male Voice Choir channel, Virtual Voices Together concert.
