Suspected arson attack on Oakwood Avenue play area


WITNESSES are being sought following a suspected arson attack on a play area in Oakwood Avenue, Warrington, yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

One fire engine attended from Warrington attended at the scene shortly before 19:45 following reports of a fire at a play area in Oakwood Avenue.
On arrival the crew found a small quantity of rubbish well alight.

One hand appliance was used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that this fire had been started deliberately. Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 777752.
