THE annual “ladies day” held at Winwick in aid of charity group Kitten Carers could not take place this year because of COVID-19.
But organiser Debby Hughes was determined the charity should not lose out.
She asked family, friends and people who usually attend the event for a donation and as a result £250 was raised to help the charity, which cares for cats and kittens in need of help.
Debby said: “ I would like to thank everyone who donated and hope in 2021 we will be able to have ladies day again and make it bigger and better. “
