Firefighters called after car collides with roundabout at Daresbury

FIREFIGHTERS werer called out to attend a collision involving one vehicle at Daresbury near Warrington shortly before 6pm last night.

The car had gone onto a roundabout at the junction of Chester Road and the M56, and was issuing smoke.
A hose reel was laid out as a precaution.
Crews isolated the vehicle as well as the battery and made it safe.

Two lanes of the roundabout were closed while firefighters dealt with the incident.
The vehicle was then moved from the road and the owner arranged for it to be recovered.
