WARRINGTON’s Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School has seen some big changes during Lockdown – transforming the school’s sports offering.
Four new tennis courts, three netball courts and one handball area have been provided – all in one area.
TCAT have been able to support the school via capital funding to secure the site with a new fence.
The school believe these will really enhance their PE offer – both curricular and extra-curricular. It is hoped the facilities will be used for the young people across the town.
Director of sport and performance Chris Burbridge said: “We are so proud to have such a first class facility and something which our students and the wider community can benefit from. A multi-use sports facility was only something we could have dreamed about, and it is now a reality”.
