ARSONISTS struck three times in Warrington last night – and police are appealing for information from the public.

At around 11.45pm, a crew from Birchwood responded to reports of a fire in the Capesthorne Road area and, on arrival, discovered it involved a timber fence.
They used water to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for more than a quarter of an hour.
At about 10.10pm, two fire engines, one from Warrington and the other from Birchwood, went to the St Mawgan Court area of Padgate. They found a quantity of rubbish in a courtyard had been set alight, close to a garden wall.
A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire and the crews were present for about 40 minutes. The blaze did not spread to the nearby property.
At around 8.15pm firefighters received a report of a fire in the open in Grosvenor Grange, Woolston, Warrington.
On arrival the crew from Birchwood discovered the fire involved a wheelie bin.
Firefighters used water to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around 25 minutes.

All three fires are believed to have been started deliberately, although there is nothing to suggest they were linked.
Anyone with any information about the fires should call police on 101 or give the details via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report.
