A recruitment consultant from Warrington scooped a major award at a glittering ceremony in London before the coronavirus crisis.

Collette Ellis, manager of Berry Recruitment, was named ‘Berry manager of the year’.
Her branch also picked up a coveted ‘achievement of net profit’ award at the annual conference held by Berry Recruitment Group (BRG).
BRG works from nearly 40 locations across England and Wales and employs almost 200 staff.
Chairman Tony Berry, the former head of recruitment giants Manpower and Blue Arrow, presented the trophies at the iconic Waldorf Hilton Hotel in Covent Garden.

Group managing director Chris Chown said: “Collette has driven success at this branch for several years and fully deserves to be named ‘Berry manager of the year’.
“All our branches performed superbly last year so to take the award shows just how well she has done.
“The team should be extremely proud of its ‘achievement of net profit’ award and when things get back to normal we expect them to grow further.”
BRG’s latest accounts showed that last year it made a £5m leap in turnover to £74.4m.
The company is headquartered in St Albans, Herts, and its other brands are Wild Recruitment and Wild Berry Associates.
