NO new deaths but three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed

WHILE no new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital in the past 24 hours, three new cases have been confirmed.

According to the latest Public Health England figures 1,316 have tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 628.0 per 100,000 population.
This is an increase of three on yesterday’s figure.
Including the *134 confirmed deaths at the hospital at least 265 people have now died in Warrington after testing positive for COVID-19.
The latest COVID-19 related deaths from the Office of National Statistics shows 126 people have died in local care homes, two patients have died in a hospice, while three people have died at home.

As of noon Thursday (last week’s figures in brackets) Warrington Hospital had tested 9,230 (8,334) inpatients/community of which 1,175 (1,164) had tested positive.
They were caring for 6 (9) in-patients who have tested positive for Covid-19
There was 1 (1) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU
They had successfully discharged 367 (358) patients and sadly 132 (130) had died.
A total of 134* patients have now sadly died at the hospital
*There is a discrepancy of one death between what Warrington Hospital has reported and what is being published by Public Health England.
The last confirmed death at the Hospital was last Thursday.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 155, taking the total number of deaths to 44,391.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 581 taking the total number to 286,349.
