THE annual carnival may have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Croft WI still marked the occasion with a self-isolating scarecrow to celebrate the good work of the NHS on their 72nd birthday.

With no great gatherings for the Croft Carnival this year, Croft WI, who usually make a float and join the carnival procession, decided to make a scarecrow, T 4 1, displayed at Croft Memorial Hall in the village.
They created a self isolated lady, having Tea for One, celebrating all the good works of the NHS and all those who have worked so hard and volunteered to help our communities.
