Friends launch fundraiser after young woman loses four teeth during horrific attack

A young woman who was spat on, verbally abused and head butted in the face, lost four teeth during a horrific unprovoked attack in a Warrington park.

Now friends of Kerry-Ann Farren, aged 20, have started a fundraising page to help raise the £4,000 she needs to replace her front teeth.
Kerry was attacked on June 24 on Bennett’s Recreation ground near Padgate Station, while she was having a socially distanced picnic with friends.
She was verbally abused, spat on and head butted by a teenage girl, causing her to loose her three front teeth, another was twisted but couldn’t be saved. The whole anti-social incident lasted for almost an hour!

The fundraising page, which can be visited here https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-kerryann-farren-get-her-smile-back has already received more than £1,000 in donations, was set up by her friend Chloe Belton who said “We’ve set up a fundraiser to help Kerry-Ann Farren pay for new teeth.
So she needs four new teeth as quickly as possible but has no way of paying for them. It’ll cost around £1500 for each implant, which she needs two of and a few hundred for each tooth.
“We’ve looked into weekly pay for victims of crimes and it just isn’t enough and who knows how long it could take trying to claim compensation, could be months or even years!
She was reluctant to ask for help but so many of you have said you wanted to contribute something so we’ve decided to make a fund raiser to hopefully get her smile back.

“Kerry has been really brave, we’re so proud of her and we know this is going to be such a long recovery process so the quicker she can get some teeth the sooner she can start healing and move on from the attack!
“Please donate if you can and if you want to support her business join her body shop group, even if you don’t buy anything, sharing and joining her group will really help her out a lot and that’s free if you can’t spare any money!
“She works really hard and I know she’d appreciate it as she would like to make some of the money herself if she can!
Kerry-Ann said: “I’ve lost 4 teeth and I am feeling quite overwhelmed by everything.
“I am lucky girl to have so many people trying to help get things sorted.
“Basically living off soup and ice cream right now and my friends and body shop girls have been keeping me entertained.”
The attack has been reported to Warrington Police and those involved in the attack have been identified on social media.

  1. The video seen is barbaric but from what is floating around Facebook is that the girl did headbutt her but the verbal abuse and spitting came from the lad. He also should be charged aswell but no doubt the coward threw the girl under the bus to save his own skin.
