NO new COVID-19 related deaths but two new cases confirmed at Warrington Hospital

NO new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital in the last 24 hours, although two new cases have been confirmed.

As of noon yesterday (Thursday) the hospital had tested 8,334 (7,432) inpatients/community of which 1,164 (1,151) have tested positive – not all are Warrington residents. Last week’s figures are in brackets.
They were caring for 9 (17) inpatients who have tested positive for Covid-19.
There was 1 (2) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU.
They had discharged 358 (347) patients and sadly 130 (128) have died.
Daily average patients through A&E is 205 (199) and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is 54 (46)

A total of 130 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 226.
The total number of Warrington residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 at the hospital is 805, a rate of 384.2 per 100,000 population.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 186, taking the total number of deaths to 43,414.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,006 taking the total number to 309,360.
