Warrington Hospital COVID-19 inpatient numbers down to single figures

THE number of inpatients being treated for COVID-19 at Warrington Hospital is now down to single figures, with no new deaths or cases reported for a second day.

To date they have tested 8,334 (7,432) inpatients/community of which 1,164 (1,151) have tested positive – not all are Warrington residents. Last week’s figures are in brackets.
They are currently caring for 9 (17) inpatients who have tested positive for Covid-19.
There is 1 (2) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU.
They have discharged 358 (347) patients and sadly 130 (128) have died.
Daily average patients through A&E is 205 (199) and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is 54 (46)

No further deaths and no new COVID-19 cases have been reported at Warrington Hospital in the last 24 hours, with the total number of Warrington residents testing positive at 803.
A total of 130 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 226.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 149, taking the total number of deaths to 43,230.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,118 taking the total number to 307,980.
