No new deaths but two new Covid-19 cases confirmed at Warrington Hospital

WHILE no new deaths have been reported, two new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed at Warrington Hospital in the last 24 hours.

A total of 131 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 227.
Eight patents have sadly died in June, this compares to 34 in May, 92 in April and 7 in March.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Warrington residents reported at the hospital is now 805 – a rate of 384.2 per 100,000 population.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 171, taking the total number of deaths to 42,927.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 874 taking the total number to 306,210.
