No new deaths and no new Covid-19 cases reported at Warrington Hospital

THERE have been no new deaths and no new COVID-19 cases reported at Warrington Hospital in the last 24 hours.

A total of 130 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 226.
Seven patients have sadly died in June, this compares to 34 in May, 92 in April and 7 in March. The latest reported death was on Friday (June 18).
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Warrington residents reported at the hospital remains at 802 – a rate of 382.7 per 100,000 population.

As of (Thursday) the Hospital Trust has tested 7,432 (6,543) inpatients/community of which 1,151 (1,123) have tested positive.(not all are Warrington residents).
They were caring for 17 (18) inpatients who have tested positive for COVID-19
There were 2 (0) C-19+ patients in ICU.
They had discharged 347 (335) patients.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 43 taking the total number of deaths to 42,632.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,221 taking the total number to 304,331.
*Confirmed deaths and cases can be lower at weekends due to time delays in reporting.
