Firefighters tackle skip fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a skip fire at Stockton Heath, Warrington.

At around 7.20pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the open on Grappenhall Road.
Firefighters from Stockton Heath were dispatched to the scene and on arrival they found a skip which was well alight.
The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were detained at the scene for approximately 15 minutes.
