THE award winning family run fish and chip shop “Plaice Station” is open for business serving up 5 star food at Padgate train station.

Choose your own time slot for your chosen day and time and put your feet up and they’ll do all the work and deliver it to you. You can also choose your time slot to collect and beat the queues, orders over the counter are also taken but only one person in the shop at anyone time.
Owner Darren Sudlow said: “We only serve sustainable Cod where we can trace back to where its caught the date and even the vessel it was caught on.
“We have a varied menu including locally sourced handmade burgers, all our chicken products are 100% chicken breast meat to ensure quality is at the highest. We also do a range of cold or toasted wraps and chicken and doner kebabs also so there is plenty of choice for the whole family. Why not try our homemade fish pie its delicious. Fancy a dessert ? We have that covered as well from sticky toffee pudding to freshly baked cookie dough, gorgeous hot, but eaten cold is just something else as well as a selection of milkshakes that are extremely popular.”
